From central Sicily, youtuber Ugo Cammarata, known for his passion in combining technology and tradition, landed in the picturesque seaside village of Marzamemi aboard a curious means of transportation: a motorcycle in the shape of a cannoli, created from an electric scooter. This original vehicle is not only an expression of creativity, but a provocation against the clichés that often surround the image of Sicily.

“Sicily is not the lupara, but the cannolo,” Cammarata states. “My land is often represented in a stereotypical way, but Sicily is much more: it is art, culture, life and color. With my creations I want to break the patterns that have been imposed on us over time.”

The arrival of the moto-cannolo in Marzamemi did not go unnoticed. The installation caught the attention of tourists, who captured the moment with their smartphones, while children had the opportunity to take a ride around the main square aboard the bizarre vehicle, amid laughter and general amazement.
